Data Deletion Instructions

If you'd like us to delete your We Should Write Sometime account and any data associated with it, including data obtained through Facebook Login, follow the steps below.

What gets deleted

When you submit a deletion request, we remove:

• Your account profile and login credentials
• Personal information you provided (name, email, profile photo, bio)
• Any data we received from Facebook through Facebook Login
• Your songwriting collaboration history, matches, and messages
• Any uploaded media tied to your account

Some data may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or in anonymized aggregate form that cannot be linked back to you. We'll note any of this in our response.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to the address below from the email account associated with your We Should Write Sometime profile.
2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request
3. Include your full name and the email or Facebook account used to sign up.

Response time

We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. You'll get a confirmation email once it's done.

Removing app access from Facebook

You can also revoke We Should Write Sometime's access to your Facebook account directly:

1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find We Should Write Sometime in the list of active apps.
3. Click Remove.

Removing the app on Facebook stops future data sharing, but does not delete the data we've already collected. To delete that data, please email us as described above.
